I am looking for new exhaust stacks for my truck, probably 5" or 6". Looking for suggestions on brands and where to buy.

6"could be cool. Try Iowa80 or Chrome Shop Mafia near chicago. If u asked about mufflers, i would recommend Pittsburgh Power w900 style muffler.

I put 7" pipes on my 2003 w900l along with a tee pipe part number for tee is (kw-5aey2m) slids right in place and lines up to the factory exhaust location and gets rid of all the extra clamps and elbows underneath. Sevens look and sound right on w9 I think it might get a little loud with 6" pipes as in a higher pitch noise to it. Had 5" straights on a 9900 binder and couldnt even talk on phone or hear radio to well they have pretty much same exhaust as KW does. The sevens have more of a deeper rumble to them. I got my pipes from 4 state trucks and the tee from truckpipes.com get the inserts in stacks and be about right for sound. Pm me if you want some pics

You know the new rules here and all I don't think we're supposed to post about these things. But if you're getting 5.8 mpg with that mbn right now that one small change might bump it to 6.0 was the first upgrade that happened to mine. M100463 Donaldson is the exact same muffler as PittsPower without the expensive price for the name.

Just did the valve lash adjustments. Gained 1/2 mpg on my truck. Was 5.16. Now 5.7 mpg.
