I'm from Ont every company I've worked for has a slip that relieves me from duty after 1/2 hour at customer. Not saying it's right or that it will stand up in court but it's standard operating procedure. Myself if I'm working 20 hours a day I have NO problem falling asleep any time I have a chance. One thing you could do is if you are in a dock for say 6 hours just don't leave the premises until your full ten hours are up. Then your legal to go and that will be a hint to them.
Forced to go off-duty
