So I went to the interview. ..14 days on 7 off...no pay for ur week off...no stage bonus or safety bonus but a end of year bonus for performance...they only do day fracs usually 5am-6pm...they have a crew that maintenance the equipment at night...just waiting on hr to call and gimme the offer and discuss pay...that's if they decide to get me...guy that interviewed me kept telling me "good job"... so I'm hoping that was a good thing...

"Unsurpassed 401(k) match (100% of participant contributions up to 15% of eligible participant compensation, subject to IRS limits)"
That sounds pretty awesome.
Are they looking for anyone else? How did you get the interview? -
Exactly...I emailed one of the recruiters after I applied. .got the interview the next day...look on the job forum on here, she posted that she needed drivers for oilfield trucking solutions...A Chesapeake company...but she helped me out and looked into my app for ptl...her name is christina I believe, check the job forum

And I don't have any oilfield experience whatsoever. ..just a cdl...I have researched the whole frac process through YouTube and articles as well as talking to buddies in the industry....they will ask what u know about the industry. ..

I heard today that Performance is looking to hire 50-60 equipment operators in El Reno OK. they must have picked up a big contract.
-
Well at the interview he stated that they were breaking away from Chesapeake and start bidding on their own contracts and were gonna hire for 2 more crews or so in the near future...
-
I think some one is blowing smoke!! performance is owned by cheasapeak!! gona be kinda hard to break-away!! and I have never heard of a frac job just in the daylight hours once you start you just don't shut it down and go home!!! the guy was seeing just what kinda of worm he was dealing with or something!!!that makes know since at all.
-
A 9 to 5 frac job, never heard of that one either.
-
I haul sand on lots of daylight fracs here in WY. It depends on the crew situation and what the oil company wants to pay for. Think about it if you are fraccing your own wells and don't really care about the timeframe then you can do it with just one crew instead of two therefore saving yourself all those wages. Not all fracs go round the clock.
security58 Thanks this.
