I will take pictures today if it is one of the newer Hyundai's we pick up. I do not think you will be impressed. They had skirts but Covenant took them off to replace ones destroyed by their drivers

They should have taken Undertray ut-6+. Hirschbach, Landstar has those under their trailers. Don't know the cost of it but they save fuel more than what those trailer skirts.

I read the exact opposite somewhere else trays are a waste of money, skirts work. A fleet owner here told me to definitely get skirts that they do help.

Sounds like a company I used to work for lol. I know they spec cheapest but I figure on the insides they at least do some things for durability from destructive customers. With 1,000's of trailers over the years they have to know what works for them and what doesn't.

My buddy is working for Hirschbach (has trays under their trailers), he gets 9 mpg with those trailers. When without them, he gets 7 mpg. governed at 65 mph. Now at 68 mph avg 8 mpg.

An under tray will not increase fuel mileage by 2 mpg.

I pulled a new trailer with side skirts and now I am pulling a older trailer with no side skirts. I have not seen a diffrence in the mpg. If there is any it's so small. To me I would like to pull a trailer with side skirts mostly for when it raining it keeps the spray down.

The ones we leased are 2013 Hundias. They are beasts and way over spec'd for what we are doing but the price was right.

I was told they didn't meet the spec's of a customer so they had to come out of service but now that I see them I am not sure that is the case. I think they are as good as any other trailer with similar spec's but if I was buying a single trailer for myself I would be going with a Dane or Utility.

If it was for a fleet I would be price shopping.
