GOVERNED AT 65 mph

Right...exactly my opinion.....im not here to state laws....I let my fellow lawyer truckers do that....I just explained how I felt about it

 

It can be 10 different reason you can get over 8 to 10 second ahead....1 of them which happens to us all....a car can be riding right on the side of you and when u slow down the car does to thinking its the police

 

Well, if you cannot deal with the variety of LEGAL speeds on an interstate, you do not belong on it either.

 

Lol yes sir your right lol....I dint want to argue with you...it sounds like u started the whole trucking business. ...I bet u even came up with the idea of a big rig huh....u build trailers to huh?man wish I could have thought of that mr rich man...lol...

so since u know it all tell me what trucking is all about to every driver that drives.... except freedom and money....

 

Ok so the next time u in texas and u run up on a car or pick up truck on the interstate and you have to slow down to 55...please come back and tell me how u feel about that

 

Here's what I do when I come upon a slower truck, which ironically always seems to be a o/o, I slow down, then when the left lane is clear, I get over and pass him. If I have room to get over before I'm 2" off his bumper I'll get over and keep on trucking. It's not rocket science here guys come on. I've only been driving for what 4 years? 5 years? and I know this stuff. I know you seasoned veterans can't possibly be this naive about simple rules of the road. Why make a big deal of it? Does that 15 seconds that it takes you to get back up to speed really make that much of a difference in your day?

 

Do all of the time. I am professional and deal with it.

By the way, my truck is not governed. I drive 62 to 66.

 

its not a big deal...I have to deal with it one way or another I stay in texas lol...someone is always driving slow...im just saying dont complain about us runners if yall dont wont us to complain about yall driving slow...

serious question. ....do we be in yall way doing 70 or 75?why when we run hard we unsafe drivers? Not the ppl that on a 75 mph interstate doing 62?

 

Whats the point of driving 66? I know fuel high but come on...if u heavy or if the wind decides to throw a temper tantrum. ..u burn fuel any way....heck the ac burns fuel....idling burn fuel...

 

I rarely idle.
I get the better fuel mileage at those speeds.

Explain to me why the same high speed trucks keep passing me. Yes, I note the company and truck number and see them many times.
