    One week into this shutdown, Canadian news has been minimal as to any coverage.

    Have any of your customers made changes or offers to get you back to work ?

    Has there been any feedback or action from local or federal gov. agencies ? Positive or negative ?

    Are the load boards reflecting the impact by raising rates on what they offer per load ?

    Other than media coverage, do you feel you accomplished anything to help your plight, or the public plight, in regard to cost of living ?

    Really would appreciate O/O responses,:yes2557: not people just creating discontent or problems on the board.:biggrin_25511:

    Fuel Prices came down a few cents here in Georgia. Other than that, nothing has changed (if you don't include a couple more O/O's giving up and parking their trucks). As of this morning, fuel prices in Georgia are climbing again. As far as I can see, we have not made a large enough impact to make anyone notice except for a few local news reports saying we have not enough support from anyone that can make a difference to get noticed. Tankers never stopped down here, Grocery Whse's still ran their loads, Wally World kept shelves stocked. We need laws to change. How are we going to do that if no one will take up the cause? OOIDA, what a joke, ATA is only for big Company Exec's and what they want. Our Pay has to go up or else we will not have an American O/O on the road, just Big Company trucks and subsdisized Mexicans. Get rid of NAFTA.

    Thanks for your reply showman,, guess we`ll stay in the dark up here for awhile.

    Cdn. O/O must be doing well, don`t see a lot of them parked or here anything on the cb here in Ont.
