I starting to miss YRC more and more, if it wasn't for the pension plan I would've gone back already... But at The same time I dont miss only going 62 mph
-
I heard UPS Brown needs drivers so bad they might hire off the street. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Yes because the package guys dont want to lose their seniority by switching to a feeder position. Heck if it's offered by me I might make the switch. Unless I get another gig (non trucking related) or if YRC brings back the pension. I don't want to work till I'm 100 lol

I'd say stay where you're at. Seems like a decent deal.
-
If you need to have set hours then stay where you are. Most LTL can't guarantee start time hours for a new driver
-
I also agree that you should stay where you are. YRC isn't nearly as good as it once was.

Well i had a phone interview yesterday with the company again... I'm going to call the shop steward there during the week as he's a friend of mine from when I was running the road to the terminal. It's a city position so I'll have to bust my butt but I'll have a life again and a less stressful environment. I've spoken to my old co-workers and none of them seems to be telling me not to return so maybe it's a sign.

OD still looks like a great alternative. Just bothers me about no OT after 8. We all know, it's very hard to do just 8 and skate.
Good luck and keep us updated.
