National Carriers "The Elite Fleet" Yeah Right!

Slow day on TTR.

 

Yup I still work here ;} Company drivers do not carry chains. I "did"have a pair of the socks but when i got my "14 KW last fall none were in the truck. Shut down several times this last winter and was never asked if i had them. I am the exception to the trucking rule. I stay out 11 weeks and take a week off{my choice} I run anywhere except any load to NYC. Personally I hate Cali so please come take them loads.

 

I,d imagine with brawley closing will be more ca freight but i,m sure they will farm it out to outside carriers as its their lowest contract rate

 

Losing people in orientation is NOT turnover. These folks are not even hired yet.

 

ME TOO THEY CAN HAVE CALI AND OREGON TOO #### 55MPH, I STAY OUT 5 WEEKS WITH 4 OFF . I Love the southeast and NY and will go ANYWHERE! WILL GO TO CALI BUT NOT MY FIRST OR LAST CHOICE

 

Dude let me tell ya a little secret... Leave those out of state companies alone and or just leave the industry because it's no longer worth the stress.
When enough drivers finally wake up all of this madness along with the greed will stop. It's not until we stop feeding the beast that things will change not a minute before.
I have just found a job that's easier than trucking the hours are short the pay is too but the stress is no longer there.
I'm I happy yes and no but I can tell you this, I get a good night's rest.
I may come back but under my own terms I refuse to let these people put me in a grave while they sit back at a lake talking about me behind my back or plotting to do me and every Tom Dick and Harry in while they sit back at the same lake.
What I want to say this site won't let me say it due to the word screener.
It's just not worth the fight for good anymore so gove them the rope they want and then some.
