I am going to be working for Crete went through a day of orientation yesterday
There going to put the drive cams in wasn't happy about it -
Crete is very strict no cell phones at all even with blue tooth
There's a couple of things that will frustrate me here
Was also told I may not get a truck in Lincoln either
And was told I would and I drove from fort Wayne Indiana -
They will issue you 'safety' points over drivecam incidents, even ones that did not occur during a accident.
Better not have a cell phone in your hand when it goes off, and your seat belt on.
If you have bad driving habits, you better hope you don't get stuck in a truck with a drivecam. -
I saw 1 drivecam at Lincoln in an unassigned truck. The size of it and where it's mounted would block a lot of low sitting sun.
they can put one in my truck if they want, I rarely drive 62 as there's always a bit slower truck way ahead of me that I don't feel like passing.
I like driving slow and by myself, if I'm in my personal vehicles on any interstate, even a Prime truck would pass me quickly. -

WTF? The Crete policy is NO CELLPHONE USE WHILE DRIVING, PERIOD. Bluetooth, wired headset, anything.
-
so they want me to pull over so they can talk to me? HAH...screw them. They can wait till I take my 30 or finish my day.
-
They don't have to call you, I've been here nearly 6 years and have never received a phone call from Crete while driving.
SnoopyKs Thanks this. -
