Several plants are going to be closed for Good Friday and that is taking scheduled loads out of the market so companies are having extra trucks. We have been seeing quarter slump but that isn't jitters just the hangover from everyone wanting get stuff shipped.

Holidays can hurt or help and surprised this one is slow considering all the demand we are seeing in manufacuting.

I also know that we don't want to send you to a market that would even have the chance of having you stuck out this weekend.

I appreciate that! I'll deadhead in a pinch but I'd rather not.

Im good with macropoint. Just didnt make sense when we pay for the qcomm. But i get it now.

last week was kinda slow, but it picked up in the end did $2700 on 1580mi. Had to stay out the weekend for it though, but like the Godfather said "this is the business we have chosen."

Ran late on the Tn delivery. Got called to pick up early, took an hour to get there, but an additional hour to actually find the place, three hours to load. 4,000# and 40mph wind with rain didnt help! Ran out of hours. Dropped the trailer and they could not find me an empty to use, so i gotta bed down and wait till morning. One of you guys may end up rescuing my 0900 in Ky, cause i definitely wont make it.

Talked to Ryan tonight, i thought the poor kid was gonna have an anuyrism... Guess the computers had major issues today. Ill have to bring him a six pack next time Im in.

Hooked one of our dedicated trailers, they are in great shape. Spring ride is the only downfall, yes Iam being a spoiled baby.... But empty it seems to ride good,, real test will be a light load up I-65!

The unfortunate part is it is very slow today. They were bidding what would have been a great load up to Toledo, but I called it off because i burned to many hours waiting today. I most likely would have not made it up there for the 0500 unload time. So Im gonna hang out in Antioch and cross my fingers and toes for tomorrow.

I have pulled new Wabash trailers with composite springs, and they rode just fine. Much better than the old spring rides. Good luck on getting some high-dollar freight. I have been following the thread. I might go back to work one of the days. Gotta keep informed of my options. Thanks for the updates.

Made it to Louisville and I'm in heaven! New Ford super duty's by the 100s. At the dock in line to unload then hopefully find a place I don't have to manufacture a parking spot. Seriously beginning to wonder if I'll get unloaded before the 2015s roll off the line :biggrin_2554:

Well my day just got crappy... Im at the J in Franklin,Ky i pick up in Russelville tomorrow. Got woke up to a crunch, PGT driver backed in to me. Fortunately it is just cosmetic and wont affect me from working but that just makes me mad when that was totally preventable!

On a positive note, at least it wasn't a hit and run. So you'll get it fixed and get paid for downtime. Still sux. Could be worse.
