Ok team....need a trick of the trade assist here. I got into this truck about two weeks ago and the Prepass and EZ Pass were held up with clear tape because the existing velcro had hardened. I asked the shop to replace it...naturally they didn't and I wasn't feeling like waiting so I just got a few strips of velcro myself and replaced it. Problem is now the glue is not holding up to the heat on the windshield and melts each day when I stop causing them to drop to the dash. What are you guys using to keep these mounted during the summer months that doesn't look goofy like tape?.......Thanks

I used Velcro strips, but I cleaned the glass with ammonia glass cleaner first. Maybe you have a residue on the glass that's causing problems?
I got my Velcro from Home Depot. Maybe they sell it with more aggressive adhesive.

I always used the white heavy duty velcro made for windows... The heat did not affect it near as much as the black stuff that adsorbs the heat

    capper17 Thanks this.

No, I only used some basic $2 stuff I found...I thought I may be able to get some more "heavy duty" type from Walmart or Lowe's I just haven't had a chance to stop by one lately. Thanks for the feedback.

If your on the turnpike in penn any of the plazas have the clear plastic velcro like ones that came with it. They are also free. I just ask the gas station attendant for them.

Sitting at Wal Mart in Loveland waiting for them to unload 4 small pallets. Wanna bet they take the whole 2 hours?

Two hours? I have been told by Walmart they have four hours... And they are not afraid to use them.

Walmart Loveland I have only done D & H but the Sam's club there is pretty quick.
