Ground isn't even white here… I ran to North Branch earlier, roads were less than stellar!

 

You know they should get one more of your stations there and it could keep a whole fleet busy.

Snow started when I went through Granite Falls and just got increasingly worse the closer to home I got.

 

Well I talked with the guy who I am very seriously thinking about taking over his business for, only downside is its over on the darkside.... He runs a reefer! LOL. He was telling me his rates roughly for what he does, Chicago/Southern WI- multiple points in FL and back. It would be the sale of his truck, trailer, authority, business name, and his customers. It seems like a pretty good deal for what I would be getting now I just have to take some time and think and decide on it. Then write up a business plan for financing!! YAY, makes me feel like I am in school especially since the VA wont call me back when I ask about the assistance program they offer to help vets write business plans and help get them ready to start a business... Oh well looks like I am going to have to research more on this here computer.

 

Were not that great...just hauling a cheap load of poverty rock. The good news is we got good money on the CA to CO leg.

 

Just ask them where they want their truck driven to.

same old, gotta tip my hat to Cluck for having a broker tell him he was "one of those out there driving the rates up" or something to that effect. Trying to get things done around the farm right now but gave a high bid to one. They didn't "have that much in it", I told them I had "more than that in it".... whatever, you'd think that works both ways. Tell em I can take it to Springfield, IL for that price, but not to St. Louis... they should have put a little more "in it". If I run out of fuel does that mean they'll put more "in it"...

I just get tired of that phrase. same old hoopla. find someone desperate to pay big $$$. stupid game, I always win. maybe I should move on to fighting roosters or something with a little credibility and history.

 

Stopped at Louise's in NJ this morning and found out they went out of business. Loaded some plates in Pottstown and headed home. Trying to find something to go in this 30' of empty space.
