the 55/35 truckstop, Vaiden, Ms exit 174 on I55- old mom and pop truckstop that has run down over the years, but the food is good and I can always talk the waitress into putting more on my plate for the same price. Also just watching and listening to the locals that come in, is usually entertaining.
Mt Airy ts, exit 100 I77 North Carolina- good food

I'm sorry to report as I sit in the parking lot that Louise's has gone out of business.

Yep, hopefully someone will clean it up and open it back up keeping the nostalgia. I remember the first time I went there and was awestruck by the trucking history on the walls. I preferred Johnnies for food but Louise's for the view. Now both are history.
