True, my last truck got hit and the guy took off. At least this guy owned up. It ripped the bottom corner out. I could see the real damage in the daylight. only thing covering the hole is strands of loose fiberglass. Im gonna have to see about them paying my downtime, i know a lot of insurance companies will fight it. Covenant is doing the leg work, but i plan to do follow up to be sure.

2014-04-16 13.07.03.jpg I was mad dont get me wrong. But screaming and beating would not have changed anything. I told him it could have been avoided if he got out to double check. But whats done was done.

His insurance will pay for it at a shop near my house so i can at least be home. Its gonna be at least a week to fix. i need to put that thermal tape over it in the meantime so rain doesnt get inside.

Sitting at Ford in Louisville, was just told it will be at least 4 or 5 hours to get in the dock. Apparently i wasnt on the schedule for tonight.... *sigh*

I'm at the same plant as yesterday. Just said 2-3 hours. If that's true, it'll be an hour quicker than unload

A friend of mine got backed into at a NJ travel plaza several years ago. Hood , radiator, etc. The truck was down for a month. They gave him a check to cover repairs, and then he never got paid for downtime. I think once he cashed the check, they claimed that he accepted that as payment in full. So be careful .The company that cheated him was WEL.

Look at thepics i posted. got hit drivers side rear corner of the sleeper. Im letting a body shop handle it, I want it done right with a gaurantee if something is wrong in the future they will cover it.

Im gonna push to get compensated for downtime. Worst case scenario my wife is a lawyer so we will figure it out.

Im back at Ford in Louisville again waiting to load. These people are insanely slow. But the load will get me home, Im taking the family to Kalahari indoor waterpark for Easter, looking foward to some downtine.
