I agree. Blue and chrome. Thanks for the pics.
-
Just for overweight? I dont put them on when legal size normally....No need to attract attention when not required!
-
They'll just think that you are one of "those guys" that's to lazy to take them off and go on about their business.
-
I have called various states and get mixed answers - so I just put them on since I have to stop at all the scales anyway. Probably could get away without doing it by why risk the wrath of some scale house.
You enjoying home time?SHC Thanks this. -
Thanks guy, SHC i tried it once and it looked funky and this c16 likes to smoke and i dont want to deal with the soot hitting the load too.
-
My fat friend at the Il scale on 80 said it would be ticket time for oversize signs, and no oversize permit!
Stupid in my book, "oversize load" signs for a legal size load....
Martindannythetrucker Thanks this. -
Speaking of your friend, I think that it was him that gave Larry a $710 ticket the other day for his lift axle not being within 1000lbs of his drives.
I have heard that Iowa likes to write tickets for oversize signs when not permitted. -
Oops!
It does say it right on the permit though.....Although I have never seen Keen scale out each and every axle neither
