On the bright side, any of our green trucks is better than that banana hammock he did have!

He's still on the yard, George. The mechanics didn't finish installing the inverter in his truck yesterday. Then, today, when BigBrin stopped by and chatted with George, they started the truck to discover the ABS light was on. More of the waiting game!

Hope you all in the shop get rolling. As for me I del. Yesterday in Fredricksburg to my least favorite customer in the wotld but was out of there at 11:20. Then drove 12 miles to pick up a load that only went 86 miles to Petersburg but as long as my wheels are turning and I'm not just sitting I'm ok with shirt loads just not everyday. Picked up an empty had to take it to the shop ABS light on trl on. Then picked up a load off the yard took it to new bern, nc only 221 miles but before I was empty I had to go to wilson nc to pick up a 2 stop final in newnan, ga. What I absolutely love so far in my 2 months with Abilene I never sit. If I have just a few hours on my 70 the give me a load that can be done or hand off to another driver. But bottom line is my wheels are turning. Gonna go get a good breakfast and then head to Atlanta before rush hour. Be safe every one. And also if you are experiencing any difficulties in life try praying.

Update...surprise!!! The genius I took the BH load from abandoned the truck and empty trailer in Florida. Thanks for that tidbit Deuce!! What the heck happenned to our thorough pre-screening process?!?! Spent 2 hours working with Sally on a new test for Stage1 drivers to grad to 2nd stage. Not bad and hopefully less ambiguous than the original.

You know I for the life of me can not figure out why drivers just abandon their trucks. That's a death sentence in trucking. He'll never work for a decent company again. If a driver hates driving that bad take the truck to the terminal. Heck you even get paid to
take a load to richmond then buy a bus ticket home.

I absolutely agree. He will probably go back to hauling trash to the landfill in a MBI truck! Thats the impression I got from his demeanor and appearance. I will always help Bo out because he always has returned the favor. At least in my dealings with him! What this driver did was inexcusable and so negligent!
