I was never able to run both the heater and my bpap at the same time or I got voltage alarms, I checked all the connections and everything is nice and tight, looking at the batteries you can tell they have some age on them but I doubt swift will put new ones in until they actually fail.

Took a load to Van Nuys and dang traffic was bad tonight between accidents, breakdowns and 3 lanes closed in an area, took over 30min just to get through the truck bypass where the 5 and 14 split, top of the bypass there was a tractor burnt to crisp with hardly any sleeper even left. tomorrow going to Pasadena then Riverbank, not looking forward to the holiday traffic on a Friday thats normally bad anyway going south.

Finishing up my 10 hr break on a side street near the Pepsi plant in San Diego. Then I'm headed north to check out the new terminal next to Mira Loma.

 

Still at the hotel here. They called me yesterday. Best case scenario is Saturday. The system was even down yesterday at KW. They have to order 3 parts for my truck and KW could not say if in stock or not. If the parts have to be ordered, then just get back on the road and wait for them to come in. Just hope that not hot weather since one of the parts happens to be a switch for the AC in the bunk. Well, at least enjoying the eye candy around here with Applebee's right in front and a Pizza Hut and Fuddruckers also in front.

The trailer before the one I am currently hooked to was a brand new step deck. It off tracked about six inches. Gave me fits parking, everyone knows us flatbedders cannot backup as it is haha.

 

boise id. got here at harbor freight 45 min. early. had to back into alley from street. real fun with cars coming from both directions. but had no issues. gonna be fun getting out since small street to the major street has no traffic lights and everyone going home. rush hour traffic lol

 

they opened the doors and broke seal right away. so walked down to subway to get dinner and got back with half the trailer done. mixture of palletts and floor stacked. hopefully they keep it up lol. since i got into boise few hours ealry, stopped at flying j for a shower. gonna stop at the t/a when they done to see if they have better parking. flying j is abit small.

Where is that guy that sells the bootleg dvds?!? I gotta trade in my Spanish language one I bought from him the last time. Anyone ever see this guy at the Gary terminal? He drives up in a SUV with a bunch of huge CB antennas on it. He used to be a Swift driver a long time ago and he keeps some monstrous cb system set up in his SUV. Said he can talk to people in Hawaii on his CB. Is that even possible?? He's cool though, the dvd thing was my fault for not reviewing it enough there in his truck. He let's you watch each dvd he sells - well, he sells you the case and the movie is free as technically selling the movie is illegal. Quiet night here in the driver's lounge.

Stopped here for the night before I continue on this load from WY to Jersey City.

If you are ever on I-90 in Minnesota and need a place to stay for the night there is a Walmart right off the interstate in Worthington, MN. Ground Round restaurant close by, a Anytime Fitness, Radio Shack, Goodwill across the street and the parking lot is nearly empty at night and easy access.

 

all the tv shows and movies I download I could probably make a fortune selling bootlegs especially since I could get ahold of most pron too if I wanted from the private trackers I use, I always tell those sellers to buggar off that I get mine for free.

Took a load to Pasadena and then up to Riverbank, shut down next to the store utilizing the wifi since its decent and fast here, AT&T has my speed throttled since I used over 5gb for the month, got 5 more days for it to reset. I use wifi when I can during work days and download most of my stuff when home on my days off, when otr I was using 20-30gb a month on my phone.

Tomorrow is very slow because of Easter and most of the stores wont be getting a load, was only 9 loads to give out but the site manager told me when I get to the dc to hook to a mt and head down to long beach for a Yussen load so I will still be able to get a little over 300 miles for the day while most were given the day off. Sunday should be pretty busy though catching up on loads.
