Parked Here for the Night

Welcome to purgatory. The Lordsburg McDonald's was the only one I've been to where the dipping sauces for McNuggets were extra cost.

Me. "I forgot to ask for hot mustard dipping sauce."

Cashier. "Those cost extra."

Me. "Seriously? Even with McNuggets?"

Cashier: "Yes."

Me. "Well if you ever wonder why people talk #### about Lordsburg, it's because of things like this."

I left.

 

Getting unloaded in Denver. Ran non stop 6.25 hours. I called a few hours out and she said they could possibly unload me, but no guarantee. After I got off the phone with her. Fleet manager called and told me to drop it on the yard. Told him that she said to bring it on in for a possible unload. He said go for it, and let him know. I have a load tmrw night that goes to Omaha. The same one I get seems like every weekend. But I have home time for next Friday. So they are keeping me in the area. Go to Grand Island Monday and pick up a 3 stopper heading to Texas then after that I guess they figure out if I'll go home empty or not.

 

Calling it an early day. Had enough Chicago to last a while. Perrysburg OH. I think I'll sleep in a bit for my Wilkes Barre delivery tomorrow.

 

Just had breakfast with TruckDuo here in El Paso. For once they got here before I had to take off lol.

 

Sweet deal. Trailer is loaded and sealed.. I don't have to go pick up the load. Score!

 

Headed to Greeley at 4ish. Picked up load. Seen a new taco stand near the plant. Got 2 breakfast burrito's scaled out load, drove I'm sure less then an hour and had to park it. Breakfast Burrito's and that nice cool air made me sleepy. So here I sit. Thinking I'm going to try one more time to make it to Grand Island at least. But If I make it to Big Springs, NE that might be an accomplishment. Guess we will see shortly.

 

Well we are back rolling.. Our loan might have a hitch in our giddy up, but we'll keep jumping through their hoops... It's stuck in titling phase right now. SIGH ... How did I know it wasn't going to be as easy as just signing some papers...

 

Home until Monday with the wife and baby. Gonna run to Fremont Ohio to load at 8:00 to offload in Dayton Ohio at 13:30. Y'all have a good weekend!
