Some times , i take a few naps a day for a few hrs , because i am not in this for a vacation . Its my job , and I am gonna do what ever I have to do while being away from my comfy home to make it worth while, and not be a big ##### and be like ( oh I gotta have 12 hrs sleep )
Grow the #### up this is life , not a god dam sorority party....
Honestly that how I feel . So carry on.

Made it fine. Caught myself weaving on a rumble strip and pulled into the rest area for a 45 minute nap and finished it up. It was at 5:45 this morning and I called the dispatcher. Told her my plan and she was fine with it. Shipper loaded 3 hours late and I was an hour and a half past original time with my nap. Verified with day dispatch and they were cool with it. Wasn't as bad as I thought.

running all night, well what will they want us to do next.

I know, right? Next we might have to work hard, or live what the majority of society would consider "a disgusting" lifestyle!
Jesus, who do these freight company owners think they are? Expecting "real" drivers to act "real."snowblind Thanks this. -
I prefer to run at night. There is usually fewer ID10Ts on the road. If in the situation that the OP had I will just get a nap a few hrs.before the pickup time then run hard all night long. "Classic Vinyl" and a thermos of coffee will get me through the night.
