These are the idiots that are too lazy to aim their headlights properly. It's a pet peeve of mine. There is no excuse to not take 10 minutes to have your headlights adjusted, if nothing else as a courtesy to others on the road.Moving Forward Thanks this.

I swear by my yellow prescription shooting glasses (so I've got the tint, the AR coating, AND the safety aspect for those customers that require it!) [lots of 'em when you pull flat.]
And every other truck wash that I get, I spring for the Rain-X. It DOES make a difference.Moving Forward Thanks this. -
So those yellow glasses does the trick huh?
-
I guess I should find these before I start driving again. Couldn't hurt. I wear glasses so I need to find a place that sells the clip on ones for your glasses. I do have prescription sunglasses but they are far to dark for night driving. Have tried that and they just don't work.
To many people out here in central calif who leave their high beams on -
Go get an eye exam, you may have an issue with your eyes.
-
Unless your fog lights are terribly misaligned they provide no extra illumination and will be less than useless in fog.
It seems most Volvo drivers do not have that issue, maybe it's your low-beams, maybe it's your eyeballs.
Right. "Sorry if you're blinded, I have to see." Few things suggest "putz" more than using fog lights when there is no fog. I suspect most fog lights are run in clear conditions as a matter of "style"...x#1 Thanks this. -
I have learnt to deal with headlights and I drive mostly at night, the only thing that really irritates me are the other drivers who high beam you over when passing them, it seems those jerks always hit the beam as im starring into the mirrors blinding me. What irritates me even further are the ones who flash when im already halfway getting over.....idiots...

I do find difficulty in agreeing w/gpsman,especially this second time. i do agree with this post.there is not a need to run those lights unless the weather is inclimate.i think they are now considered chicken lights by the 62 mph drivers.Last edited by a moderator: Apr 19, 2014

I didnt like driving at night at first.. because the lights.. but, then I did learn a few tricks that help.. first and foremost, a clean windshield... second, look past vehicles whoes lights are bothering you... when I was new I did something very commo for new drivers, at night I had a tendency to shorten the distance I looked at.. tending to look only as far out as my lights shined.. now, especially when an oncoming vehicles lights are brignt I look past it, over the top of the lights and to the rignt... also, some good night glasses.. I got mine at a motorcycle shop and they are really nice..
I have several pairs of sunglasses with varying degrees of shade, some polarized...
