The year and model would help.

I went back to 1990 and didn't see anything. Body corrosion doesn't usually fall under a recall. It might be one of them trucker tales.

Sorry, vnl670 '07, i found some bulletin few month ago about a lack of sealer but that was for a different volvo vt model i believe. Will try to find it and post here,

here is quote from guy from a different forum: " I have a 2006 VNL 630 Volvo steel cab also it passed the European Crash Test which is very rigid, I've been told.
Side note my 2006 VNL 630 is showing slight signs of rust on inside lower rear corners of doors truck has 470,000 miles, Volvo says not a problem, Volvo is replacing both of my doors because somebody didn't put enough sealer in that area. They are talking about trucks that have been in service upto 8 YEARS, free NEW painted doors if rusty. the way I understand it." Any thoughts? -
I had same thing on both of my Volvos 03-670 and 06-780. Brought it to body shop, repair, paint and anti rust treatment around $200 per door at my cost. Held up pretty good after that until the trucks where sold.
