Well you definitely knocked down those cubicle walls. What made you choose tmc?

I do I'm getting out of shape and low on funds ready to hit the road running

1.) Pay. Its all I could find remotely close to what I was making and could live on with my current finances.
2.) I wanted flatbed so I could try to stay in or rather get in shape.
3.) Heard a lot of good things from other drivers. not many bad things except from folks who can't follow directions.
4.) Manual Trans. I don't want to learn on an automatic before I'm fully comfortable with a non-syncro manual
5.) I see their trucks all over the place here at home which lends itself to getting home sometime before I retire.
6.) Last and most importantly the really cute girl in the office at my CDL school said "Go with TMC I LOVE their trucks"
Now I will add I had long considered and still have melton on my list. They have MOSTLY manuals, and a pet policy which would have been a bonus for me. It looks to me like they tend to stay out longer, don't have percentage pay, chicks dig black and chrome.

Yeah the no pet policy bugs me gotta be away from my family to provide for them but my dog is gonna cuz some separation anxiety. I heard that Melton is pretty hardcore otr 3 weeks out is what they want not for me they aren't giving up though they still call daily. I bet you can't wait to wheel that big black Pete back to school and show to that chick lol

I'm thinking of working for TMC, I live in CT. the winter is harsh over here. I'm new at flat bed . my ? is do we tarp every single load or certain loads we don't tarp. thanks
-
It'll only be certain loads that you tarp, but in the winter you will tarp more loads than the summer because of salt and all that crap.

I got a call from Adam (from PA) today, a recruiter I hadn't spoken with before. Basically he called to confirm that I had a tentative on the 28th and that I should call Jon on Monday. It was a really nice to hear from him, gave me a good feeling having someone call me on a Saturday on a holiday weekend just touch base and see if I had any questions or concerns.
