Thought I might try this post in the oil field section and see if I have better luck.

My brother is a geotech engineer, owns his own company, and just a remote control, tracked, drill rig. As part of the package, a truck and trailer came with it. All I've seen so far is pics. The truck is a KW straight truck, in a flatbed configuration. Don't know the model number. Has an eaton fuller tranny and it looks like it's a 21 speed. I say that cause it has 7 gears and the switches that you see in 13 and 18 speeds. Are the lower 7 gears for off road only or just like 5 of them? Has anyone used a 21 speed? He's expecting me to train one of his people on how to use it, and I'd sure like a little info before just jumping in doing some OJT. Thanks.

The bottom end is for heavy haul loaded only.normally you won't use them.

Try starting in about 4th or 5th, only split the top end.

Take it out and play with it empty, that will help you get a handle on it.
