    Wrong.

And the correct answer is "It depends."

You need to research Motor vehicle Law before making a blanket statement like this.

dui is class b misdemeanor. first and second offense. 3rd offense is class a misdemeanor. trafiic citations are class c misdemeanors.
the second offense may be a class a these days though. and a 3rd offense a felony. been a loooooong time since i was in those shoes.

and before some of you who think you know it all say i don't know what i'm talking about. i have first hand experience with first and second. and the second one wasn't alcohol. it was drugs. and was easily dismissed and never made it to court.

and for those that want to flame for even getting the first one. it was long before i even reached adulthood or got my cdl.

    Once again, "It Depends."

It depends where you live, where you may have received the citation, what the violation was, what the citation was for etc.

Many violations of MVL in this state (And many others) are considered "Infractions" and not classified as "Criminal" in nature. Ones more serious in nature by degree and scope are considered "Misdemeanors."

They probably did not hold your brother, he was probably free to leave.just not in the truck. Time to consider changing companies.if a company is not paying there comes it very well maybe time to move on. Don't blame dot because of a companies lack of responsibility. If it are another driver they would not have even mentioned it.
