The only trouble with living in the armpit of the country is...
    It really stinks living there.

The ironic thing is, the state actually looks like an armpit.

I love Florida, beautiful weather and no snow or ice to deal with. Check the container haulers most seem to not be able to drive or backup, if you can hit the dock without running over someone you may be over qualified.

South Florida Trucking is not bad. But it's not Chicago or LA....the Local OTR Companies want experiened driver only, No trainees, Wrecks or tickets. Most companies in Miami-Dade are small companies with 3 to 5 very old trucks...NATS (North American Transport Service) is hiring... But they expect you to stay out three to four weeks. There are some Local gigs, But you have to be at the right place at the right time to score!

Hey Guys...they have a TON of material / goods coming into Miami from all over the world. "I'm assuming" they have to get somewhere...like out west or the rest of the state?

I see about 25% of the traffic on weekdays in S.Fla are TRUCKS.

Don't know *(since i'm not a driver yet)....but it would seem (from looking around the roads here), there are lots of drivers working.

I have to take exception to the "Florida Sucks" statement. I have an ex girlfriend who is an attorney there. So you should change the title to "Florida only Sucks when she is good and drunk."
