They wanted it and gave them a price no one would pay, turned around and sold it to the competitions company driver. Needless to say that was my way of cutting any future ties and stopped phone calls, the safety rating they have is in the red and hopefully dot will shut them down sometime soon. Being associated with a company with bad safety ratings and my unit was never found in error makes a long day getting pulled in constantly.

 

Hopefully you got enough money out of it to upgrade your work uniform from sweatpants, crocs and dirty wife beaters??

 

I am more inclined to wear more of a tropical outfit, fishnet thongs and a fishnet wife beater, now for shoes I wear Ho Chi Minh flip flops. I just wish you trashy Yankees would stop washing your windows down here, the road salt burns my eyes when bathing in the window washer bucket, while eating chicken wings on the fuel island......

Grand Rapids, MN at the Walmart. Only place to park in this town. Luckily there is a pizza joint next door and they got beer ..... Loading in the morning for GE and going to Cincy.

got the word today that I will be the exclusive hauler for the D.O.E. moving radioactive stuff to Utah. First run starts May 9th and then I'll be doing 2 a month.

 

Sitting here in New Lisbon, In. Cleared the scales no problem, even the Portables Pa. had working on I79 this afternoon.
There was a Stone trucking multi axle there with the jeep out from under the ld. Do not know if he was to heavy or failed his super ld. insp.
Then we stopped at Dallas Pike to get some fuel.
Well some driver stuffed a high ld. under the bridge and had that closed. So all the east bound trks. could not get into the TA
He had a big piece of duct work on.
He had it wedged good under the bridge and the ld. was half off the trl. as well.
I wanted to grab a pic.,but my wife said no..I was not laughing as I've kinda been there myself. But I made it through the bridge..

 

I spent the day heading to northern WI with my pickup and trailer rescuing my van with a dead fuel pump. Then I tied my load down that's headed for western MN and after that I milked cows. Supper time now.
