New update... Paperwork went to the underwriters... They are having a problem with the name on the paperwork.
sigh
We applied with our LLC, the lease is in my husband's name because when we signed he was a sole proprietor. Now on our contract we have his name and CENTRAL but the lease is now with IEL... To top it off, they don't have the title. IEL lease the truck from Daimler, so we are the subleasee! ARG!!
So won't hear anything until Monday... But work goes on... Back on the road Saturday (tomorrow) EARLY!!
Good night for now

Thank you for the reply. I pull dry van. I have been blessed with the same co-driver for the past year and my new co already has experience driving despite being new to CRST so I am lucky in that regard, but I do agree with you that if I was getting a co who was new with no experience it would be a bit frightening. LOL
And YES, I am so glad winter is mostly over. I did get some good experience driving the winter weather this past year, but I do prefer the summer weather. LOL
I did get quite a surprise when we had to shut down in Cheyenne a few days ago when the 80 was closed due to a winter storm. I thought it was SPRING!
Anyway, be safe out there and congrats on purchasing your truck.
P.S. What ever happened to Arkansas Frost, PSU Moose, Dulios? Just wondered. I liked reading their posts.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Punky74 Thanks this.

We'll.... That was a bust! Financing wasnt a big problem.
Financing for the lease buy out on our truck was set and ready to fund.
But IEL, the so called leasing company for swift doesn't own these trucks, Diamler Leasing owns them and they lease the trucks to IEL who then turns around and "sub-leases" them them to us. So there wasn't a real big problem, we were able to tie the loose ends with Central Leasing and IEL then to Diamler Leasing.
Our bank wanted a payoff from Diamler, and then they would pay Diamer and a second check to IEL for what was owed to them (Central Leasing not even in the picture any more).
Well... They, IEL wanted no part of it! They said the bank was to pay them and they would pay Diamler and then the bank would get the title when they got it and processed it.
Well now they realized why it took a month for me to get the payoff and that they/we are dealing with small people with large egos and NOT PROFESSIONAL finance people.
So, our bank pulled out totally! They are NOT going to fund the loan at all now.
So, I now get to play with some and try my hand at "Creatative Finanacing" of my own....
Starting tomorrow I may end up going back to work with the Bridge Company.... Anyone want to buy a Bridge? -
That just SUCKS Gary. You will find a way to make it work
Lady K Thanks this. -
i so hope it works out for you two. you have worked so hard and deserve this more than any one....fingers crossed something pans out
Lady K Thanks this. -
I was able to get some what "creative" today. It will mean a cash payment to IEL so I am thinking it will be pretty much bullet proof, but..... I would put it past the IEL girls to give it a good try.

Hey.... Now wait a cotton Pickens minute!
SHE is the that makes me get out and pick up cans an bottles to recycle for extra cash....
and I'll tell you... Some of those bottles? That fluid looks like a kidney/bladder transplant looking for a place to happen.....Lux Prometheus Thanks this. -
Ok... To be honest she beats with a a stick every chance she get....
ok...ok....
I do pickup cans, glass bottles and plastic bottles at truck stops, rest ares (I don't go into the trash cans... Just incase the employees recycle) and on/off ramps.
I have two onion sacks that I fill each week and I get any where from $15 to $25 per week. This money I am saving and will add to a college fund for our Grand Kids that LadyK and I are going to be opening....
