Actually, a better indicator is when you see tons of their trailers going into and out of the rail head, meanwhile they tell you you're sitting because they have no freight... You can also tell when you're hearing about a lot of drivers jumping ship. If the rats are jumping ship, it's probably time to abandon rotten paycheck transport.

Not trying to be a Smart ##### ,but the first signal of when to leave a company is when the fuel card stops working! And no way am I going to pay to put fuel in a truck when I know I might not get paid back !! Leave ASAP!

I was with Giltner from 11-13 quit in feb 13. Returned in November, I can't complain, got another new truck. They keep me moving. Good people. Do the job, don't cry and you will be fine.

Any driver willing to sit around for a day or two at a shipper without being paid, probably deserves all the abuse you got comming...I would never sit for free for any company for even one minute ....ever....

Are they affiliated with CR England? They have a strikingly similar Lease Drive Train sticker on their trailers.

When I worked there they were piggy backing on England's purchases to get their discounted prices so they may have to get them that way .

Giltner uses owner ops that run paper logs to run illegally, there dispatchers are complete morons, especially night dispatchers. I had many fights with dispatch not to run illegally. they dispatched me 1900 miles and said i needed to learn how to manage my hours to make delivery, they have zero respect for their drivers, from the owner on down, i spoke with many drivers and they had the same thing to say
