Ok, this is what I've heard about Trimac. Their equipment (tankers and bottles) are usually in a constant state of repair. I had a friend who worked for Trimac out of Edmonton for three years hauling up to the Yukon. He loved the run, but financially couldn't make it make sense anymore.
They treated him well otherwise. In house shop rates, and good discounts on maintenance. But the rates on the actual runs were pushing him out.
After 3 years, he said goodbye and went to Plains Midstream. That was about 2 or three years ago.

I started with Trimac in August last year. Amazing company from day one. Pay is excellent with benefits such as two wks vacation from day one, paid holidays, matching 1K, detention pay, layover pay, safety bonus of 5% week
ly and additional 5% quarterly. Good home time. They are currently offering a $2500 sign on bonus paid on first load. You need 1 year verifiable cdl experience. Tell them Don #30796 referred you.

I think Trimac does have a referral program.

Just for the record, I disagree with referral programs. Referral programs can turn drivers into recruiters who earn a substantial part of their income luring pure and innocent drivers with disingenuous reports of nirvana-like conditions at the company that is paying them the referral fee. Referral programs also lead to unintended consequences such as drivers sabotaging other drivers at their company to get them fired so a referring driver can make money on a referral new-hire.

I dont mean to say you sound disingenuous, but you sound like a walking billboard for Trimac.
Its rare, and in fact, it will be the first time I have heard such a glowing report for any company. There are usually pro's, and at least one con. In other words, you make it sound like a dream!
I truly hope things are going that well for you. If not, anyone that might take your word for it and ends up with anything less than what you've said will be pretty disappointed that yet another fellow truck driver has led them down the regrettable path.

I don't know Trimac or ukdon. But sometimes people are happy where they are and what they are doing. This does not mean that the next person will like it as well.

As the O/P is from south of the border, it may be a whole different can of worms down there. He might want to ask the question in the US side for a more accurate response.

I just noticed Ukdon is down south as well.
