I use google maps to see a sat pic of Places were I am going. That way I know what driveway to turn into and how big is the lot. Google maps are your best friend out here.

 

Ok someone tell me why I have 2-100 gallon tanks but can only get 120 gallons from completely empty when I should be able to fill with 200 gallons ??

 

The fuel gauges on trucks are really, really inaccurate and I don't know why. I've driven 3 different brands now and several more models and NONE of them have been accurate to within 50 gallons.

 

Don't want to not believe it when it says empty lol

 

My truck does that too. The needle can hit E but I know for a fact I have upwards of 25 gallons and have driven 75 miles or more below E before cause of that reserve.

 

my 700 didnt do that and this truck doesnt but i know plenty of them that do

 

It seems like I have noticed some post about Dollar general and maybe other places like that. Are these places hard to get into mostly and how are they unloaded, don't remember seeing a loading dock but been overseas a long time.

 

with transam we only go to distribution centers (DC) for these places
other companies deliver single stores with driver unloads
all transam is no touch freight for us old guys

 

That's cool, I had read some company delivers to these places in the big cities and the unload by hand, no thanks lol
