    Another vote for the Jawbone. Like a fool I ran off and forgot my charger, but when it is charged, it is great (;

    Need to spend more time using it during the next trip to decide if I should pick up a blueparrot for comfort, though.

    A good friend of mine recently bought a Jawbone and she hates it. It's not comfortable to wear and I couldn't hear her as well on it as I could her cheaper Motor Trend thing that she bought at a Pilot (same as the one I use).

    I heard a lot of good things about the Blue Eagle by Interstate Connections. I was going to buy one with my tax refund, but decided to come off the road.

    The Jawbone does need to be positioned properly (which can be a pain) and set up (right sized pieces which took me a lot of trial and error) but once I got it set up I have found it fairly comfortable. With that said, I know my trainer used one similar to what you pictured and he liked the comfort of it a lot.

    If she keeps her Jawbone, you might suggest looking for some Jabra ear adapters. I have read they can make a world of difference in comfort and sound quality on the Jawbone.

    Okay....

    The JawBone has arrived. It's on the charger now...Looks real, if it isn't somebody spent some serious money on packaging.

    Tip for truckers !! Read the instructions first !! The earpiece "screws" off. Of course, I didn't bother to find this out when I was trying to put another differantly shaped one on. So the "standard" one, is now toast. :biggrin_25524:

    I'll let you guys know if it's a knockoff or the real deal in a few.

    There are 6 volume options. If the highest one doesnt work for you, you may consider the gel ear inserts. They certainly block any outside noise from interfering with the audio from the headset.
