2 accidents

I wouldn't go thru all that just to find out my MVR. I would get it online or if I could, order it by Fax over the phone. Being a "soon to be" truck driver wouldn't it be better if you had a copy any how?

yep, get a copy of your mvr. if there's nothing there. then there's nothing to tell. and you never had those two accidents.

i certainly wouldn't say anything about scrapeing your car against the pole. no ticket issued. i bet the cops weren't even called or witnesses present. ROFL.

 

Request your DMV, PIP, MVR (and what else guys). In some cases your acidents may or may not be on those docs. If the company cant find a paper trail, why tell them. The first one wouldnt be major. Unless the pole got really damaged, no big deal

 

iron pony if they are not on your MVR (no police report/ticket) then no one will know about them. If that is your situation I would advise not disclosing.

 

Wow if this guy can't drive a car. I feel sorry for stop signs and fire hydrants when maneuvering a big truck. Dude since you like hitting stuff why don't you try out for NASCAR?

But On a serious note when or if you get into an accident if some company does let you drive for them in a truck. You normally don't get too many chances, and your CDL is useless. Unless you want to run a Volvo for some Polish mafia types out of Chicago.

 

If you bang up your vehicle, and don't tell anyone... don't get it fixed that's one thing. If there was a cop involved, you'd better disclose.

 

A wreck without a ticket is not going to hold you back. With a CDL everything changes. You will be expected to meet a different level of professionalism. Driving your own car no one cares about you hitting a pole. Hit as many as you like. Driving someone else's $200,000 rig will have many people caring.

You have to remember that being a professional is not like being in the Army, Navy or Marines. It is much more important then that. It is like being in the United States Air Force. The true heroes who guard our skies. The men and women who fly over combat zones, drop the bombs, and then fly home to sleep in their own beds. Yes boys and girls, we owe our very freedom to those brave souls. Off we go into the wild blue yonder, (stand and sing along.)
