I just typed out a long response and my computer deleted the whole thing.

so now in short. Do not listen to H2S advice from those not certified. It will get you killed.

Some companies will train if you show them it will be worth their while. Check craigslist in NW ok and Stillwater for a few fracing companies that may train for cdl while you work.

Double what unclegoose said. Certified training only. if Jim Bob tells you, it may or may not be true and then you would be dead. This is just off the cuff, but if you can smell it the concentration is on the lower scale. At a higher concentration the nerves are deadened and can't send the info. Also a mask with filters is good only up to a certain level and then only a supplied air system will save you. Again, certified training or betting with you life.

Filters are for paint and dust. Particles. Not gas I never wore one with a filter. Always had a hose attached

I didn't have much luck myself, being inexperienced. I have my CDL A with tanker endorsement, a clean MVR, no criminal background. I landed a skype interview with one company but nothing came of it. But I'm sure it's not impossible of course.

So you had 1 interview and gave up and that means you had no luck?

1 interview out of all the applications I sent, so yes I personally had no luck with my search. Never said I gave up either ;)

16.50 isn't bad but what kind of hours can you get? Need that overtime to make the numbers work.

So I've been told! I definitely intend on getting that, along with doubles/triples.
