I live in Pennsylvania and currently do otr for prime! Can anyone who currently or formerly ran northeast regional tell me how often have you ran through Pennsylvania and is it worth it to switch over? Thank you

Running through 2 or 3 times per week.

Thanks! Do you do the ne regional? If so how many miles do you average?

I do the ne regional but have only been on it two weeks. First week wasn't a full week, did 1400. Second week I took 2 days home time and did 1800.

You're most likely going to run less miles than OTR, but you're compensated 5-cpm for those miles actually run in the NE regions boundaries. The extra 5-cpm is paid to you to make up for the lower miles. Your benefit is being able to be home more often... and the occasional night you might be able to spend at home under load if it doesn't interfere with your appointments.

To add to what IP said about the increased pay, being a new driver I don't understand the settlement statements completely, week one I made 48.5 cents per mile and on week two I somehow made .55 cents per mile. Not sure why I made that in the second week since my fuel mileage didn't warrant a bonus that high. I also drive a light weight.
choppygam Thanks this.
