T/A Laredo

About 6 months ago, I called Petro corporate to complain about the nasty buffet at Carlisle, Pa. The manager called me back to apologize and she mentioned that 80% of he restaurants business is truck drivers. I told her she had nothing to brag about until 80% of the business are local people. Not much of a choice where to eat with 70' of truck. I don't think the woman had a clue what I meant

 

There is an Applebees at exit 3a, by Mall Del Norte. It's where all 6 Anglo people who live in Laredo hang out. You can park in the mall lot and there is also a Red Lobster.

 

Applebees is worse than the TA restaurants.... THe majority of the Applebees in my area have gone out of business...

 

T/a is less than = or equal to prison food

 

I agree, I cant comment on prison but I think the county jail has TA beat without a doubt... ANd.... Its free

 

Go to the old truck stop behind Wall Mart,great food.

 

Actually that food is 10x better than the truckstops food.

 

All the dust/dirt blowing around becomes part of the seasoning. A taste you just can't find anywhere else.

 

I can see them cooking and washing their hands. I have seen numerous ta cooks walk out of the bathroom without washing. I avoid them like the plague.
