That's what I get for typing tired. *sighs* Should have been shifting, instead of shipping. No wonder that I can't get any miles. Lol

Panhandle,
You are on the right track. When you can have a minute to talk to the boss on a one to one ask him why he doesn't give a fuel or idling bonus to the top 5 or 10 % of drivers that earn it.. Have him set a minimum average. . Let's say 6 mpg and will give a bonus based on how far over the target mpg a driver goes. Get 7 mpg should be worth $250 a month. over that goal, $275 or higher but one that is making him money with high mpg and one the drivers want to earn. Too small not worth the effort. Too high it is unattainable. It all depends on how it is presented to them.Panhandle flash Thanks this. -

Another thing that you can do is to see if there is another phone number for them. Many times you will find a different number than what TransAm gives you .....maybe they do that on purpose since they don't want you calling receivers
. If you're lucky you can find the extension for the guard shack and get the information that you need.
jdmredneck33 and gamma Thank this. -
Thanks HTQ I will do that. Cranky, in the past you talked about using a split sleeper how does that work?

On Sunday, an outbreak of severe storms is possible across parts of the central U.S., including the Ozarks. Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes are possible.
The greatest risk for tornadoes on Sunday will be in Arkansas as well as parts of Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.gamma Thanks this.
