Milk crate. Absolutely awesome way to keep a Crock Pot from moving around.

I think a solid prenuptial agreement might keep that 'crock pot' from wandering too far...

All you need is a 2500 inverter it will run a Wal-Mart ref with freezer, a toaster oven a plug in skillet, microwave, coffee pot, TV, Lap top, and anything you want just not all at the same time look at the wattage on what you buy to make sure you do not over do the inverter. I make all my dinners in the truck and the only problem I have ever had was the cables to the battery you need to replace them about once every other year.
I have made every thing from Lasagna to steak and potato's in the truck you don't need an open flame in the truck at all. the 12v mini-oven is great to use also for stuff that you want slow cooked while going down the road.

I have a 2,000 watt inverter and run a Walmart fridge (pulls about 800 watts when cooling), an electric 9" skillet, Mr. Coffee 12 cup, wide slot toaster, laptop, and cell phone charger. Not all at the same time. MAKE SURE you hook it up a circuit breaker!!! DO NOT run directly to the batteries!!! I can make pretty much ANYTHING I'm in the mood to eat. I have a large kitchen knife and small cutting board to make meat (beef, chicken and pork) purchases into smaller quantities for meals. I buy cans of veggies and put them in small bowls as needed. I usually shop twice a month spending about $80-85. You can't eat that cheap from the fast food places or truck stops for a month! All in what you like to eat and if you're willing to take the time to fix it or not. Save BIG!!!

Not being a trucker....yet, but having spent my entire life Soldiering......dare I suggest MRE's might be a good way to go? modern rations are not the horrible slop filled tin cans people see in the movies after all. a 24 hour MRE pouch comes with not just healthy meals designed to keep fighting soldiers going but also happy...i.e. they are TASTY. They come in many varieties and the best part is, modern ones have a heating bag inside them for the main meal....insert main meal bag in outer bag, break chemical seal....let warm for several minutes.....enjoy meal! depending on the menu option they also come with desert bags....breakfast bags.....coffee.......coffee creamers.....sweets....blah blah blah...blah blah....and the list goes on forever......I hope this idea might come in handy for those who don't want to cook in a truck or can't cook in a truck due to lack of funds for equipment or company policies on inverters or any other reason under the sun right down to the easiest clean up in the world.....put it in the garbage when done :D

I know there are civilian ones you can buy.....I've never had to pay for mine.....the Quartermasters department would usually come along and drop off your allocated boxes! lol.....Let me do some research and I will be sure to get back to you shortly! :D
