You will have to find a long hooded junked one and do some cutting on it?
-
It has a 3406b are those two engines that much larger
-
the v12 will fit long hood although ungodly expensive to buy.the 3412 will fit to.its like i tell my son you can do anything with enough money.put a c-16 in it turn it up to around 1000 hp it will run a long time to.you might also check the weight on 3412,i know a 3408 will put around 11,000 on steer axle empty

Why? It's hard to beat a good running B model...
wore out Thanks this. -
yes your right but after buying this 2ws e model and swapping turbos kurt putting program in.one word amazing.i have drove kt and v8.they were very strong but. and next is 58 injectors

The b model is great. But when it goes I want to put something in it with more power.

I have never seen a short hood with anything bigger than a 3406 or a big cam. There are some standard hoods that came with the 3408 and KT's. The extended hood is the only thing I have seen the V-12 detroit in and the 3412 CAT. We have a 3408 in an old ext hood we made a deal to sell the V-8 yesterday. When the check clears I'm gonna set a C16 in it and put it up in as good a shape as mine and give it to my son. I would like for him to be able to use it if has to or wants to. I hate to sell my V-8 it just isn't logical to use to me they ain't any fun if you don't use them.
It would be cool to have a 3412. I have heard a few rumors of old 359's that had the cab moved back a few inches and a piece added to the hood of a already extended hood to make room for a motor. Any body actually seen something like that? what was in it?
