No we have to be able to wear a respirator at some plants. Very seldom, but it does happen.

 

To be honest I had to drum some caustic off thursday morning...just a couple gallons that wouldn't fit...and my beard was a week thick...I put the respirator on do drum it off and I still didn't smell it...it sealed and I had no problems. ..I don't see the point of shaving

 

I have never had a problem with it either.

 

Wow, never knew you'll had to wear them at times. Makes perfect sense. Having facial hair does break/doesn't allow for a 'air tight' seal.

I have it down to memory now...lol. It's a good question though because many think a new driver can't get those good jobs. As I preach; no dues to pay if you plan well.
