Abilene Experience

Well Thursday night on the way back from Wilkes Barre my students phone kept going off so he asked me to answer it since he was driving. Yep! His fiances water broke so we drove iver to 301 and he got off the truck in Dahlgren, 10 min from his house. He sent me a pic yesterday afternoon of his little girl! Thats awesome. So yesterday at the yard I was talking with Bob D and YardDart and Tim asked me what I would prefer...CA or FL? What is this? Told him pick one. Its always been like do you want Detroit or New York. I just smiled and ate Bill's cookout lunch! So off to Riverside with a baby poop load. Not sure I can even get there with my hours and the del appt. theyll prob swap me out anyway. Its always to good to be true. Solo to CA? Yeah right!!

 

Swapped on OKC last night with 1346. Cool couple! Took their load which I couldnt possibly make del time solo. Dropped it in Olive Branch which is where I am currently. No responses on QC. So sleepytime. Met Skydiver and his missus here when they picked up my drop and head for Richmond. Very cool as well. Had some laughs and they made me exercise. I must have looked in need of a week of salads or something. Just kidding. Talked to Johnboy and he is heading into the gates of hell weatherwise. Good luck man!

Oh yeah. I woke up and was looking at a beautiful sunrise so I hopped out the truck and looked out West. It looked like the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse was heading my way so got the heck out of there !!!
truckinmonkey you should have a handful of other AMX out there with you! Its nasty here in Olive Branch so it has caught up with me now.
