In most cases they don't even ask your former employer that, they only want to know how long you were employed and if you left under good circumstances. A new employer will run your driver's license and DAC. ....so I'm with kf40mc on this one, Wayne.

There is a lot going on with these storms.....Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia all being hit hard. Keep an eye on the weather. I watched some of the storm chaser videos from yesterday ....and I was amazed at the number of cars and trucks that continued to drive right into the tornado. Did they think it was going to skip over them? Many of them increased their speed like they were trying to beat it.

If I remember right, the only information that can legally be given by companies is, that you worked for them, how long, and if your rehireable. That's it. If you want to skate board, try Melton or TMC.
Waynetp Thanks this. -

And if you really want more training, look into Stevens. They have a pretty good program from what I hear.
HometimeQueen and Waynetp Thank this. -
Don't give up.
Dump the defeatist attitude. We have all at one time or another gone through this same thing. You are going to make a mountain out of a mole hill and give yourself indigestion..
Keep a good attitude and just tell them you are not comfortable with your skill level and can they give you some more training? Explain to them in all honesty why you feel this way.
How your meeting goes will tell a lot about the company and it's management team. Present your self in a positive manner and dress for the occasion.
It is not common for a driver to really understand their limitations. Because you do makes you a better driver and someone I don't mind sharing the road with.HometimeQueen, Waynetp and Panhandle flash Thank this.
