Worked with some of those guys. Didn't complain about the place. Prepare to get real dirty doing that job.

Lawrence Heck started up again. He's operating out of his old property in Blackfalds. (The one that Flint just shut down).

I'll try to find you the new name.

Here you go. You won't find a better man to work for in the patch. He just bought a few millions dollars worth of equipment at Ritchie's last week plus bought a lot more new stuff from Camex. If you call Lawrence, tell him Lucien says hi!

Anyone have any crude oil hauling experience here? I'm curious to what the average pay scale is and how they get paid. Central Alberta. I would like to know if it's worth looking into. I've heard crude haulers make good money but what's good money?

Typically crude hauling is 32-33% of ticket, straight 38/hour, or 29/hr with overtime. It is lower pay than drilling, fracing, or coil tubing, but you work pretty much alone so the environment can be better depending on your nature. Frac or drill and you will have more time off, more benefits, and be making six figures in your second year. Hauling, unless you own your own truck, not likely to see that kind of money + benefits so fast.
