"Assault rifle" SMH.

 

A friend of mine works at that FedEx center. He is okay, but we were all quite worried. The ambulance company I work for did all of the transports to the hospital. This is just ten miles from where I live.

Yeah, I have nothing legitimately useful to say about the whole thing, just trivia.

 

lots of disgruntled employees at fed-ex, does anyone remember when one of there pilots said he was hitching a ride on one of there cargo planes and once the plane was in the air attacked the pilot and co-pilot with a hammer I believe they managed to subdue him with there heads smashed in and land the plane the attacker planed to fly the plane into there tennesee hub I believe,maybe someone more computer savvy can dig this up and post it, sorry for any discrepencies but it happened years ago

My friend that I referred to earlier - the employee of FedEx - is a former EMT at the ambulance service I work at. As it turns out, he was given a trauma kit and saved the life the first victim of this shooting - the security guard. The guard had a massive abdominal wound and my friend applied pressure and gauze to it until the ambulance got there. He's good people.
