Stormed like crazy last night, got woken up at about 0215 with a weather alert - flash flooding until 0515 - on my phone but I am still in the same place I was last night so it didn't wash me awayLots of thunder, though, and I assume the requisite lightning was present, as well. I just snuggled under my covers & slept like the dead until the text from my old man this morning. Apparently, he can't be trusted to drive without hitting things...
He isn't seriously hurt, but the airbags deployed so he's bruised & cranky. Waiting for further news, but I think he is more worried about how badly he is going to be injured when I get home. This is the second at-fault in less than 12 months...grrr.
