"he just got his commercial driver's license 30 days ago. They say he had never driven a tractor trailer until five days ago when he was hired"

How in the #### did he even get his ####### CDL? You have to drive the #### thing in order to pass the tests.

    New Drivers....

There's nothing wrong with having a GPS but please get good reliable directions and use the GPS as a guide to stay on course.

It's on the GPS it has to be true, just like the internet, if it on there you can believe it.

I was always so paranoid of low bridges.. I usee to always get a quick qweasy feeling in my stomach when ever I saw a bridge up ahead.. even on the interstate.. I think I even ducked my head for the first few months...

GPS are an aid, not an absolute... always check the Big atlas for low clearences and weight limits..

His career is ruined.. he tore up a Historical bridge.. millions in damage...

And new drivers wonder why a lot of companies want 1 to 3 years experience.. and why training companies dont pay mega CPm... CAUSE that rookie just cost that company mega bucks... may even have put them out of business..

I don't give a #### how long you've been driving. It's a #### wooden ####### bridge. Common sense needs to come into play at some point. Every truck out there has brakes. If it don't look right STOP and back up.

Same thing happened here in IN a few months back.

let that be a lesson to all you rookies. SET YOUR PARAMETERS. and you won't be guided through a bridge you don't belong in.

i have every faith in my gps. she has yet to steer me where i don't belong.
