That would be something I think I would enjoy. Where do you find those kinds of jobs and how much experience do they require? I don't think I've seen any of those on craigslist, maybe there's a better site to check out. Right now I'm thinking I'm going to move to Indiana before my boy starts school, I don't want to move him around after he starts. I think for now I'm going to stick with what I have and at least in Indiana it will be easy to get home unlike where I'm at now.

I literally fell into it but look for end dumps as you pass other trucks or at truck stops, etc. and google/startpage the name and call.heck, ask the drivers on the radio.
when i knew that i was about to transition over with the wet kit and all,i pulled walking floors.I did not dig the walking floors but they paid well. i then pulled another companies(a scrap outfits) steel end dump and got many overweight/bridge law tickets as it was maybe a 35' closed tandem BUT learned lots regarding the actual loading/dumping. that gave me a learning period or curve.end dumps are different as you must be level and on and on.I did many hours of research online and basically learned on the fly.I then transitioned over to a 40' spread axle frameless.you can not only watch it sway in the wind or when a bit unlevel, you can feel it.nothing like a load that won't slide on out or is slow to do so.it keeps things exciting.
anyway,i enjoy it and the loading/unloading is ultra quick for the most part.I have a roll tarp and bows that i have to climb in/out of the trl to move and walking across the material, etc. so i get to stay active if the runs are shorter. heck, even if they are not there is work involved.no doors so one must be fairly agile climbing in and out of the trailer.check end dumps out as even the company trucks seem to be set up to roll and i can't think of any that run elogs and all that junk.
