Hook to the Dock and do a backup, then a restore to the new one. It will note the serial number change and ask you if you wish to continue.

    thanks,

3 units basically doing the same thing. All related to power. I would start looking at how the 720 is powered from the truck.

    Thanks,

I have seen in the truckstops a RM GPS kit. This does include a charger. Might want to look at that for a replacement charger.

All three of your symptom's point back to power issues.

    You have a Dash Cam?

    Linear Amp for CB?

    RF Modulator?

    Thanks,
    Mark

No on all accounts and no splitter. Also had my shop check out the cig ports and they are producing the right amount of power. No more and no less.

Rarely have seen bad batteries. Pins 1 and 5 are the power pins. If it works with the cord, but will not charge, could be the charging circuit. I thought it was not working at all.

    thanks,
    Mark
