Just sat in line for almost 4 hours to get a flat fixed and this lazy piece of **** said he couldn't do change it because the mud flap arm was bent. Told me I had to get a chassis flip! Does anyone have a good work ethic anymore? Guess not!

With all the rules and regulation creating now days. Im surprised nothing's been done about intermodal equipment. A lot of them chassis just act like they're going to fall apart if the wind blows a certain way. But what do you expect when the rail yard treats the equipment like crap. Not sure why companies deal with it. I sure wouldn't want my equipment being thrown and drug around with no respect. That and the fact that it seems like a lot of them have wiring problems and I see lights flicker on and off on them a lot. Then you add the fact that some of the people driving them wouldn't know the difference between a wrench and a socket. So there goes any idea of the driver fixing minor things on sight. As far as containers themself go. I'm not sure what could go wrong on them other than a broken door. They're pretty basic designed.
one thing that has been consistently told to me is never drive containers. They're a rolling pile of csa violations.Dickeyroberts Thanks this. -

Yeah I'm at my wits end with intermodal! You go to pick up a load and either a tire is flat or they set the container on the pins or locks. It's always something. If they started paying for you to sit and wait for these lazy idiots to fix their equipment, then maybe there wouldn't be so many problems. Sat for almost 4 hrs and didn't get one dime for it.

The thing with the mud flap arm is that is wasn't digging in the tire or cracked. The mudflap was covering the tire. He was just looking for a reason not to change the tire. I wanted to snap on that guy soooo bad but you can't say anything or you will be banned. They know that too, that's why they do this crap

Yea I pulled them for a year or so and always had a strap available in mine because youd always be blowing those recaps in the summer!LOL
