The reasons i got into this business have nothing to do with the money. I just recently got back to where i was financially before starting trucking. I do it for the love of it 1st and handle the business second. I'll be working much harder (dirtier to) to top out at my starting wage yankin tankers and seeing home less often because for now flatbed is more enjoyable to me and i am excited at the prospect of running down some back roads for the picks and drops. If i was all about the $ i wouldn't be taking this position.
I'll do things the old school way and within 6 months if it doesn't work out we'll be riding the nitro express. Some 13 axle RGN #### with a good outfit would be good to. 70k+ to sit 3 days a week ain't bad lol.
If i was really about the money i would have finished my engineering degree and majored in petroleum. I got a friend that did that and started out at 90k straight out of college. I'm glad he's doing it though because my new truck will have 125 gallon tanks LOL.
I'd rather die than spend the rest of my life wishing i was dead living that big city life.

Headed to Regina, SK with a load of steel building parts. First chance I've had to pull one of our new 48' step decks. Be interesting to see how the weight shifts moving the front axle rather than the rear axle.

Just got done delivering to coeur d'alene. Taking a day off then grabbing a load of 70 foot poles headed to kingman az. It is also on one of the new 48' step decks so I'm curious to see how all disc brakes feel on this thing
