The speeding tickets are hard to excuse under any circumstances. Those are all on you. period. If you had to speed to make the delivery, there are several reasons that may be applicable, and either one means you need to make adjustments somewhere.
The no rest issue is on you. If you can't adjust or fix that, you need to find another line of work. Safety not correcting a POS eLog system? Move somewhere else who use Qualcomm.
Trucking is difficult for some and everyone has a "bad streak" every few months and threaten to quit. If you never have good weeks where you enjoy the job, trucking isn't for you and you may as well begin looking for other employment options.

I have no intention of quitting, not even a consideration. I love this job, especially when you come around a corner and see a landscape that makes you go Wow! I grew up around truckers and already knew that if you expect any sort of sanity you are nuts. The speed and rest issues are under control. I just need to move to a company I like more and to try new things to learn more and possibly earn more. Used to do some flatbed back in the early 90's and want to get back to that.

Change the things that are in your control, like joseph said, diet & exercise will help you get of those meds!!
If you don't get healthy, you won't have to worry about anything but finding a new job outside of trucking.joseph1135 Thanks this. -
I write inquiries like case studies. The first part is background and information. The last question is the one I need answered - Do I have any other options other than riding this out for 1 - 3 years until my records clears up? What are some strategies I can use to work around thses issues when applying to other companies?
-
Wow.
Where exactly is your head at? -
You're contradicting yourself and we're having a hard time following. One post you love your job and have no intention of quitting, then another you're wondering how you can clean all this history this up when applying to other companies in the future. So is it just me? Do you want to seek another trucking job or are you ok and happy where you are other then correcting some personal medical issues?
joseph1135 Thanks this. -
I use job as both a specific and general term depending on the context. I do not like the company I am currently working for and loathe the truck I am in so I am seeking employment with another company, preferably one that runs flatbeds. The health issues are temporary and are being caused/exacerbated by my current situation, hence the impetus to alter my working conditions. I have no intention of quitting trucking as a career so I have initiated changes to make my situation more advantageous.

Patience and the right perspective would have avoided all of those. That's the place to start.
